Free health care for the destitute
Since the opening of the dispensary building in 2001, thousands of people – unable to afford the services of a doctor – have benefitted from free health care provided by the Rewari medical team. A physician and a nurse work full-time, administering routine check-ups, medication, vaccinations, preventative care and health awareness training.
The mobile dispensary unit came into service in 2010. This fully equipped vehicle allows easier access to the rural populations in the surrounding villages and to the slum areas of Rewari. Here, the medical team brings not only health care and first aid but also food, clothing and blankets to those most needy.
